Michala Rudorfer-Mertes
Chairwoman of the Supervisory Board
After graduating in business administration at European Business School in 2007, Michala Rudorfer-Mertes began her financial career in investment banking at UBS Investment in London. In 2011, she joined Permira, a large cap private equity fund, where she focused on investments in the German-speaking consumer sector. She was on the Board of Schustermann & Borenstein (BestSecret)and Maxeda Holding.
In 2021, Michala Rudorfer-Mertes founded her own investment company Rose-Sky Investments GmbH in Frankfurt. She is a member of Generation CEO as well as a founding member of encourageventures - a non-profit organization focussed on driving more diversity and innovation in the European start-up ecosystem. Michala Rudorfer-Mertes is a member of the supervisory board of BN Automation AG since 2022, and chairwoman of the supervisory board since March 2023.
Andreas Beaucamp
Deputy Chairman of the Supervisory Board
Having earned a degree in mechanical engineering at Munich Technical University, Andreas Beaucamp worked here initially for Prof. Vester for one year and then at Boston Consulting Group in Munich and Sydney for five years. Since 1994 he has occupied senior positions at ABB AG firstly as head of Business Development, then as head of ABB Management Consulting and subsequently as managing director of ABB Industrietechnik / Automation Products GmbH. In 2000, he moved to the position of managing director of the Munich office of b-business partners, an ABB holding for high-tech and software investments. He then took on the position of CEO at a software holding.
In 2004, he founded beaucamp & partner and since then has been advising central European Family-run companies engaged in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering and other fields of engineering and training with particular regard to strategy, organisation / governance, marketing, sales, innovation, project management and post-merger integration.
Since 2008, Andreas Beaucamp has been a member of the supervisory board at BN Automation AG, and deputy chairman of the supervisory board since 2010. Since 2014, he has been a member of the advisory board of Festo Process Automation and of the industrial advisory board of an investment company.
Andreas Richter
Member of the Supervisory Board
Andreas Richter graduated in business administration (Diplom-Kaufmann) from the European Business School (EBS) in Oestrich-Winkel. In 2006, he founded a web development agency specialising in complex interactive websites in Berlin. plista GmbH, in which he served as the founding manager and was responsible for technology and innovation, emerged from this agency in 2008. The company was taken over by WPP plc at the end of 2013, and Andreas Richter continued to support its growth up to a workforce of 150 employees in 7 countries until the end of 2015.
Since then, he has been active in many functions such as seed investor, member of the supervisory board of Ibykus AG, consultant for new technologies, moderator at the Entrepreneurs' Organization in Berlin and head of its Accelerator Programme for young entrepreneurs. Since April 2018, he has been a member of the supervisory board of BN Automation AG.
Dr. Marion Welp
Member of the Supervisory Board
Dr. Marion Welp studied law in Münster. She then gained her Master of Laws at the Dickinson School of Law in the USA and was admitted to the bar in New York. Following her legal clerkship in Hamburg, including time spent in the German Embassy in Washington, she initially spent seven years working as a European Counsellor for the German-American joint venture Henkel-Ecolab. Following this, she moved to the international fashion group Esprit for the next 13 years, her first job being the establishment of the global legal and compliance department. In 2014, she also took over the management of global human resources. Up until the end of 2020 she was Chief HR & Legal Affairs Officer with a team of almost 200 staff around the world. In addition, she was a member of the executive committee of the BUJ (German Federation of In-House Lawyers) for eight years.
Since 2021, Dr. Marion Welp has been a self-employed HR counsellor, executive coach & personnel recruiter as well as a member of the advisory board at Penn State Dickinson Law among other organisations. Dr. Marion Welp has been a member of the supervisory board of BN Automation AG since 2023.
